Reset SOLVER
The Reset SOLVER procedure resets Excel’s SOLVER to its default values and also turns on auto-calculation.
Why is this necessary? Basically: because SOLVER does not clean up after itself very well when it throws an error. It often leaves itself in a state where it will refuse to attempt to find a solution, and it also often turns the calculation mode to manual. This function deletes all of the hidden names that SOLVER creates to track its state, and turns on auto-calculation (the usual state of an Excel workbook).
